A SOCIALIST STATE OF MIND
ECONOMY
The economic goal of the Socialist party is to minimize the gap between the rich and the poor as this is the main source of problems within our society. To minimize the gap is to minimize the issues related to it.
An even distribution of wealth is dependant on job opportunity. The government has a responsibility to create jobs in order for people to make a living and fairly distribute their wealth.
SOCIAL PROGRAMS
Employment insurance is available and will provide workers with necessary benefits and training.
Ensuring that workers' wages and pension funds are one of the main priorities.
Child tax benefits are present and available.
EDUCATION
In order for our country to progress and move forward, we must educate our present and future generations. Education will be available at all levels from elementary school to university for people from all walks of life.
Our country is successful because of the educated individuals before us, education is progression.
GOVERNMENT
A socialist society functions with a democratic government. People have the right to input their opinions as it helps the government make their decisions.
The right to criticize the government should not used, not abused. Questions or criticisms should be based on informed facts and background information.
CRIME & JUSTICE
Firearms are nothing but a threat to society, gun ownership will be severely restricted.
All people, no matter how demonic or devious can be rehabilitated. Capital punishment will not be the solution to any crime committed and proper judgements will be made to ensure that everyone has a second chance.
HEALTH CARE
Health care will be provided for all persons residing in Canada. Things as simple as a chest cold can be looked at by a doctor free of charge.
In order for a country to function properly, there must be healthy people within it. To rid people of proper doctoring is inhumane.
